Guided tours lead on occasion of the exhibition “In Correggio’s skies: an unprecedented fresco fragment painted by Antonio Allegri coming from San Giovanni Evangelista apsis in Parma”.
The Renaissance painter Antonio Allegri (renowed as “il Correggio”) was born in 1489 in Correggio, a small town close to the city of Reggio Emilia. Here he spent most of his life and here he created some of his famous masterpieces – now exhibited in the most beautiful art collections worldwide.
